DDP on split stay

I have a split stay coming up. 1 night tWL then 2 nights at AKL. If I add the DDP only to the first night and arrive late to the hotel, can I use those credits on day 2 of my trip or do they expire on the arrival day?

DDP credits expire midnight of the checkout day (of each split stay). If you "check out" at 11:00am, you still have until 11:59pm to use the remaining credit(s). Just keep your old room key.
