Hello all, our Disney vacation is just a few months away. This will be our first time using the DDP. We are going down for 9 days/8 nights. I'm wondering if we get dining credits for that 9th day even though we will be checking out at around 9AM. I figure if this is the case I could use that extra table credit for signature dining :). Thank you. I had another question but it has completely slipped my mind...

Since you are there for 8 nights, you get 8 dining credits. Your credits expire at midnight on the day you check out. Does that answer your question?

Almost two hours later and I remember my follow up question lol. :)

Are there any restrictions to what I can and cannot get on the DDP? For instance, say I walk in to Fulton's or BOG and tell them I'm going to using DDP credits to pay. Are they going to limit my menu choices? Has anyone heard of any restaurants on Disney property that do this? Thanks in advance!

As long as the restaurant participates in the DDP you get access to the full menu. :)

There might be a small charge (or 2 people would have to choose) to things like a 2 person appetizer... things that are larger than one portion.

But in general, you get the same menu and options as everyone else!

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the help. I know the pregnant wife will be happy to hear this. :yay:

Make sure you make reservations in advance if you expect to actually get in anywhere at a reasonable time!! You can make reservations 180 days in advance from your check in date.

There is also an extra charge (new for 2013) if you choose a prix fixe menu at places that offer it.
