DDP - Night in Casablanca at Marrakesh?

My ex and I did last September, while my mom got just the lamb mishou. I've read some reports where people were denied or where everyone at the table had to order it. I would just ask. When we did, the waitor gave us a strange look and said "of course, why not?" When we told him we had heard some peole had been refused he said he didn't know why, as everything on the menu was available on the DDP. He did say that with the Feast only the baklava sampler was on option for dessert, but that was the same regardless if you were on the DDP or not.
