My twins will be turning 10 in June and we will be checking in Sept 26. In MDX, they are showing as DDP Child as they are still 9 right now. Anyone know if this will change after their bday because we certainly are paying for their "adult" prices!?!? :confused3

MDX shows the same for my dd who will be 10 when we go, but is 9 now. Definitely paid adult for her too. Lol My reservation confirmation has her listed as 10, so I'm not too worried.

If they are 10 when you go to Disney then you should be paying the adult price.

Everytime I've never reservations at Disney it asks for the ages of children at time of travel and charges accordingly.

While I can't 100% speak for the OP,I'm pretty sure we both understand that we have to pay based on the age at travel time and that's not our issue. The issue is our reservations currently list the Dining plan as being CHILD, not ADULT. :confused3 We just don't want to show up and suddenly have our children restricted to the kids menu because of a mix up somehow.

As long as your reservation is correct you'll be charged and receive the appropriate credits.

OP - Don't know if this helps or not, but I just booked free dining yesterday and it says DDP CHILD for both my DS15 and DD11 on MDE.
Obviously they would be on the adult plan, but they are listed as child on the reservation since they are under 18. Their ages are correct in MDE.
So, I would say it is highly likely that it will continue to say CHILD even after they turn 10 as that is how my 11 and 15 year old are listed. :goodvibes

I had the same question. My son will be 12 during our trip in September. Our reservation lists "TS child". I called and was assured he can and will order off the adults menu, this is just how they list him on the reservation.
