HI all...I know the DDP does not work for all but it's always been pretty good for us. However, this trip is going to be just DD and myself. 3 nights at BC and 3 at BLT...anyway, trying to figure out whether or not to do the DDP and my brain hurts. We have dinner at CRT and MBBBQ already paid for. Wondering if I should do DDP for 1/2 the trip or if at all...any thoughts??? Would it be worth it to use credits for those two meals?

WE will definitely do a breakfast at Cape May...other than that I"m not sure, thinking maybe the Yachtsman 1 night...so, is it worth it????

Help...btw...DD is turning 9 so she is still under the kids plan, it'll be about $67 per day for the two of us.

If you do it for half the trip you will only have three TS credits, and you've booked meals worth four credits, you'd have to look into deluxe. Yachtsman is also a 2 credit expenditure.

Anyone???

I understand I would have to buy it for the 1st 3 nights, then the last 3. I'm just trying to determine if it's worth it.

You're really right on the line. With those meals, you'd be projected to break even, depending on exactly which meals you used the credits for, and what QS you ate. Your daughter would save a bit, possibly making the plan worthwhile.
As you said, the plan for 3 nights would cost about $200 for the 2 of you. That would cover your Cape May breakfast, and 1 of your 2-credit dinners.
Mickey's BYBQ would be about $90 for the 2 of you.
Cape May breakfast -- About $45 for the 2 of you.

So that's $135 of value out of your 3 credits.
On top of that, you'll get 3 QS credits each, and 3 snack credits each.
Assuming you get about $3.50 of value from each snack credit -- That's $21. Total value, now $156.

So the question is, are refillable mugs, plus 3 adult QS, and 3 kid QS -- worth about $50 to you?

To me, it looks like, if you used the DDP in this way, you would potentially save $10-30, plus the mugs, in total. Not bad, may make it worth doing the plan. Of course, if you want the flexibility to skip a QS or skip QS desserts, then I'd skip the plan.

The other thing you would have to remember is that you cannot combine credits across both reservations for a 2 credit meal. If you have one TS credit left on your first reservation's account on your check-out day, you will not be able to combine it with a credit from your second reservation to pay for a 2-credit meal.

Thank you. That's what I though..it was pretty close. I think I'm just gonna put the $ I would've spent on the ddp on a gift card and use that for meals and see where I land.
