ddp help

When you go to the DIS DDP board, read the stickies at the top of the page. The first posts there explain most of the basic stuff and will prevent you from asking dumb questions...not that any of us ever ask dumb questions...:rolleyes1

I truly am sorry for asking dumb questions, however........I've looked on the dvcmember site and cannot find any info on DDP
Do memebers get any kind of discount on the plan...perhaps? hoping....

The cost of the plan is the same for DVC members as it is for anyone else. It does not require the purchase of park tickets for DVC stays on points at DVC resorts however. Adults $38.99 Children $11.99 per day. It is based on your number of nights, not days. Go to the restaurant board and then to the dining plan thread and you can get most of the details there. This is a benefit for DVC members that is well worth it without any other discounts if it fits the way you want to eat while at WDW.

:rotfl2: You haven't asked any dumb questions -- I was referring to ME asking dumb questions! I don't think you'll find any DDP info on the DVC member site, other than possibly a mention that we can get it. But if you go to the DIS DDP board, those stickies contain a lot of information, including links to the official brochures from Disney.

Not a discount, no. However, when we book ressies at DVC resorts only, and using points (not cash), we are eligible for DDP without having to purchase park tickets. Otherwise, the DDP is exactly the same for us (everyone in the room, each night of the stay, same price and benefits, etc.)

Also, there is no free DDP for DVC stays on points. We can get the same Free DDP as anyone else when (and if) it's offered, but that involves booking a room at a certain room rate, park tickets, etc.

Thank you I did go to all the posts and the disneyworld website Thank you it seems to be worth it for us 2 adults dd12 ds9 and dd7 I know the dd12 will be charged as an adult but she eats like an adult!!! We usually eat one meal in the room and two out so I think we will do it
Thanks again
