DDP for DVC

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right page to ask this, but, I read on another post (a trip report I bel;ieve), that DVC members can choose which Dining Plan they want nightly (ie can have a QS the first night then Deluxe the next). What's this all about?

Anyone on the plan can use their credit in any order, so essentially you can customize your plan daily (ie use all the QS up first etc.).

Does this question make sense??? LOL i'm reading it, and I'm not even sure!!!

When you segment the reservation you will need to finish that dining plan on check out of that day(even if you are not leaving) Say you get quick service for day 1&2 then Regular for Day 3&4. You will need to check out and in on day 3 getting new cards. You will have till midnight on Day 3 to finish any entitlements from the meal plan purchased on day 1&2.

Some have reported problems with having remaining entitlements not working on Day 3.

Sorry it sounds so confusing. I'm tired and not explaining it very well.

Thanks, that make sense. I don't want to deal with new cards and what not. I was happy with the plan we had last year (the one with one QS, one TS and snack). The post I had read had me intrigued i guess!
