DDP for annual passholders?

Can I add the DDP to my room only rate if I have an annual pass?

They started allowing AP holders to book the Dining plan this year. I'm sure someone will chime in on the particulars. I don't know if you can add it to a room that isn't booked at an AP holder rate but I wouldn't think that should matter since you would be paying more for the room if you don't get a discounted one. You may have to go through the passholder website or call the passholder phone line to get it added to your room only package.

You can't technically add DDP to a room only reservation - that type of reservation does not count as a package. What you would be doing is converting that reservation to a room/dining package for annual passholders. Your reservation would then be a package and would be subject to the same deposit, change and cancellation policies as other WDW packages. These are quite different from the deadlines and policies for room only reservations.

And you can use an AP room discount with this package, if the discounted room is available at the resort you want.
