Hi im considering renting points (complete newbie to DVC) and read that you get free parking at the parks , and if l go on the DDP that comes free with the booking of park tickets is this the case, if so how do i find out the cost and what restaurants are included with which level of accomodation. Thanks

Free Dining is not available on a points reservation. That is a marketing tool that Disney uses to fill cash rooms at a non-discounted rate.

Renting DVC points gets you accomodations only. Disney will often offer "free dining" promotions when booking packages (room, tickets & dining) at full rack rates but these don't apply to DVC reservations. You would need to purchase tickets and dining separately when renting points.

Since the other is covered
you do get free parking at the parks and that is true when you stay at any Dinsey owned resort on WDW property..
