Ok, so I really don't want to beat a dead horse, but I am a bit confused over the 2008 DDP.

On the regular DDP you NO longer a dessert with your meal?

In 2005 & 2006 I remember getting desserts for Counter Service Meals and for buffets (Chef Mickey's& Crystal Palace) and Family Style (Garden Grill and Liberty Tree), but for the life of me I cannot remember getting desserts at 50's primetime or Sci-Fi.

So no dessert for counter service? No dessert for Buffets or Family Style or regular sit down?

Please help.

Thanks

You get dessert on the 2008 DDP, you no longer get an appetizer.

Desserts at buffets are on the buffet and the family style restauants serve the dessert at the end of the meal (there usually isn't a choice, it just is what it is)

From the Dis 2008 DDP FAQ:

What does each credit entitle the guest to receive?

Each Table Service Credit includes one of the following:
Breakfast: Juice, Entrée, Non-alcoholic beverage
Lunch: Entrée, Dessert, Non-alcoholic beverage
Dinner: Entrée, Dessert, Non-alcoholic beverage
(Change form 2007 DDP – Appetizer is no longer included)

OR One full buffet.
Guests ages 3-9 must order from a children’s menu where available.

Your Counter Service (or Quick Service) Credit includes one of the following:
Breakfast: Entrée, Non-alcoholic beverage
OR One Combo Meal, Non-alcoholic beverage

Lunch: Entrée, Dessert, Non-alcoholic beverage
one Combo Meal, Dessert, Non-alcoholic beverage

Dinner: Entrée, Dessert, Non-alcoholic beverage
OR one Combo Meal, Dessert, Non-alcoholic beverage

Guests ages 3-9 must order from a children’s menu where available.

Thanks for the info. It so confusing to keep track with the changes.

We had so many great appetizers...

And so few good desserts....

Ah don't sleep on the kids menus for dessert: make your own sundae and the banana split were two of my favorites on the trip. I wouldn't hesitate to order either. Some of those adult desserts were just too "grown up" for me. Dessert should be sweet and tasty, they keep it simple on the kids menus.
