I was just wondering.... I went to WDW last year in August because of the DDP deal.

Do they do it every year around that time? Or was it just last year?

Thanks princess:

Free dining is not a yearly event. In fact, from what I have read on these boards it seems highly unlikely that Disney will offer free dining again this year because attendance for that time is much higher. Disney uses it as a way to get more people to the parks, so if people are already coming there will be no reason to offer it. However, many people seem to be keeping their hopes up and really you never know with Disney, but don't count on it.

You can however still book the DDP for a cost (I think about $40 per day adult, $13 or so per day 9 and under) which I think is still a deal!:goodvibes

They have already offered it for this year to the UK and they offered a bounce back deal to guest who stayed on disney property in Nov/Dec so yes there is a possibility that it will be offered again. Last year the offer had to be booked between Apr 1st and June 3rd and then they extended the offer to June 29th. It is a 50/50 possibility at this point. Keep praying for it.
