DDP credits

We have 3 kids- 12, 8, and 5. We had a great deal and got the DDP. My 5 year old is tube fed and will not eat his credits. My question is, my 12 year old is not a big eater. A some TS restraunts will he be able to use the child credits? Or do they make him order off the adult menu.

As long as you order the right amount (or less) that your KTTW card shows (i.e. 3 A 2K) you shouldn't have a problem. Also your 12 and 8 y/o could also share an adult meal. We've shared many a TS meal while on DDP.

Just a side note, many TS locations offer a larger verions of the kid's meals, called Jr. Meals. They are more expensive than a kid's meal but since you'll be on the DDP it won't matter. They cost an adult credit. When my DD turned 10 a few years back there were a few meals that she wanted the kid's meal and we found out she could get the larger version. Depending on how much your 8 y/o eats, this may be a good choice for your 2 kids to share. Plus they can then share an adult dessert.

Thanks for the reply. I guess my question is more can the 12 year old use a child's credit for table service. We have 2 reservations that cost 2 dinners, because he won't eat all of that can he order off the kids menu and use 2 of the child credits.

Yes. you're a family of 2 Adults and 1 Disney "adult" child (the 12 year old) and 2 children (8, 5 years old) so your KTTW cards will say 3A 2C for the dining plan. You can definitely order a children's meals for the 12 year old and the 8 year old and save the extra Adult credit (your 12 year old's) towards the dinner shows or 2 credit sig meals.

The dining credits are assigned to your room so anyone in the room can use them so your 5 year old's credits can be used by your other 2 children.
