DDP credits/food sharing question - can I do this?

Ok, I am trying to think of how to word this question so that it makes sense

When using credits from the plan, does each person at the table HAVE to order & use points for each meal that they are there?

We will all be on the plan, but are we able to share meals (with each other, NOT with people who are not on the plan).

For example, if we want to go to Sci Fi and order 1 child's meal and 1 adult meal for 4 people (2 adults & 2 kids)...can we do this?

Yes.

You can always order fewer meals than people present or on the plan. Guests sharing the same plan can share food with each other.

The exception, of course would be at any meal that requires "admission" (buffets, dinner shows, CRT, etc.) -- anyone who attends those must pay, either with the dining plan or out-of-pocket.

Thanks for the reply! I am happy to hear this I really hate to waste food, and I know that none of us can acutally eat a full meal 3 times a day (we are doing DxDP for half of the trip)! It will also allow us to stretch some things out & use 2 credit restaurants where we want to.

I didn't realize you could do this. If you can that is fabulous. We are doing the deluxe plan for 7 of our nights. My 18 yr olds gf is joining us and eats like a bird most of the time. It would be great if wee are allowed to share at some of the restaurants.

You can't share with people not on your plan.

We will all be on the deluxe dining plan. Oops, I reread what I typed, it is misleading "the gf will be joining us", we are all booked for the entire 14 days. So we all will have the deluxe dining plan. We haven't done the dining plan the last 3 trips but I always thought you weren't allowed to share. Super excited if we can, less food waste and can book a few more character meals for the little girls.
