DDP & codes

No, you need to pay rack rate for your room. I have heard if you book with AAA, you may be able to still get their package discount, but I am not 100% sure.

The you can get a discounted package through AAA (or CAA for Canadians). It varies depending on the season (value vs regular vs peak) from 10% - 20% off the room portion of your package.

Disney has also offered discounted packages (discount equal to the same room only discount offer) where you can add the DDP (they did this last fall/winter with a package discount and also, this hurricane season if you missed the free dining).

It can not be combined with an AP rate / Florida Resident rate / Cast Member discount or Military (Shades of Green) discount.

But General Public codes, generally YES!

Actually, as part of the promotion through Aug. 18th if you're staying through Sept. 30th, you can use code YYD to get a discount on the room if you're purchasing the Magic Your Way Package with Dining Plan.

I did this the other day and saved hundreds over the AAA price.

Really? Because isn't there always some sort of room discount code offered? I have ressies at ASMo in Jan '07. I've been hoping that they would come out with a strong discount on the room for this slow season.

If it comes down to getting a room discount or the DDP, I'm afraid the DDP would have to go....
