I'm thinking of booking a trip to Disney through Expedia (for which I have a $200 discount coupon on the way). If I book hotel (Pop Century) and flight through Expedia and use the $200 discount, can I then change the reservation with Disney in order to make it a whole package including 1 day tickets and the DDP (without this changing my Expedia reservation)? Or would this require canceling or changing the original reservation and thus potentially taking away the $200 discount?

Thanks for the help!

Sorry, but I don't know the specific answer. However, generally, when you have a reservation through a travel agent, all changes must be made by that travel agent. Since the dining plan is inventory-dependent, it may be that Expedia doesn't have the ability to offer the Dining Plan.

Expedia does not have the ability to add the dining plan. For some reason Disney can not add it to your plan once you book thought Expedia. Someone on the boards tried and it could not be done.

No, you can't add it when you book with Expedia...we looked into it. Also, just so you know, always clear out your cookies after you go on Expedia..they track your computer with a tracking cookie and if they see you are on there repeatedly they will sometimes up the price of the package you are looking at. We noticed this and so did a few others I work with. When we cleared out the cookies, the price went down.
