DDP Attraction Tickets Direct Booking

Booked 7 nights next August at POFQ with free DDP and 7 day premium ticket through attraction tickets direct.
After a query with my invoice which has now been resolved, I asked what we would actually receive ticket wise.
Apparenly we will get the park tickets seperate from the hotel booking. Just as if we ordered the tickets on their own.
Will we have any problems with this when we arrive? I thought to get the free DDP you had to book a package including accommodation and tickets?
Don't you normally get your park tickets on your room card when booking a package like this?
Will we be able to transfer our tickets onto our room card when we check in?
Don't want to have any problems once we arrive, like not being eligable for the free DDP!

You will not be able to transfer the tickets to your room key.
We have used ATD for the past 3 years - no problems at all.
Your park tickets will be credit card size, with assorted Disney graphics on each. These can be used in the card readers at the park entrances.

This is contradicting Info Disney gave me last year for DDP this August. I wanted to do 2 weeks offsite then our final week onsite with free DDP. They told me I could not do it as the DDP and tickets is on my room key at checkin so I could not use the tickets until I checked into the Disney hotel. Must be different if you book thru another company rather than direct thru Disney.
Here is response from Disney, obviously I would not get free DDP if I booked it they way she suggested.

If you would like your ticket to start before you arrive, how about
booking a room only and purchasing the ticket separately. That will give
you more freedom with the ticket that you are looking for.

Wane you was looking to get your tickets before you checked in.OP is getting tickets on the day she checks in.Were thinking of doing a 3 week hol next year 7 nights dvc,7nights CBR with free ddp getting a 14 day ultimate ticket then 7 nights dvc.using rest of tickets for that part of stay.
First week we will be doing aquatica and sea world.As not done for a few years and hireing a care from part of first week for one week.The ultimate tickets will onley start when we check in 2nd week

I know but if the OP has tickets already in hand, and they are not on the room key, they can be used before checking into Disney hotel, reading what the OP has put I could buy a 21 day ultimate use 2 weeks of it and then checkin to Disney hotel for free DDP. Which is what Disney told me I could not do because the ticket was on the room key.

Sorry but I'm a little confused now.
Does my park ticket have to be on my room card to qualify for the free DDP?
We will not be using the tickets (7 day premium) before we arrive at Disney.
Don't want to get there only to be told that our seperate park ticket doesn't qualify us for the free DDP.
When we arrive at POFQ it will show that we don't have tickets included. All ATD have done is book accommodation and DDP through Disney. The tickets are seperate.
I know if you book a package through disney.uk you get everything on your room card.
Starting to wish I'd booked through disney now to save any worry.

Is there nothing on your paperwork for Free DDP?
I would want something in writing, either from ATD or from Disney to confirm they know what you have booked. Just an email from either of them so you can print out and take with you. I would not want to hope they have it correct, easier to sort before you leave than when you get there. I know it once cost me $75 in phone calls because I had no car voucher(not used a travel agent since).

Apparently we get two seperate confirmations.
After we booked we received a confirmation only showing accommodation and tickets.
I emailed ATD to ask why the free dining plan was missing and they said that they would send a confirmation by post.
They did this but now it only shows accommodation and free dining plan.
A gave them a call, and was told that tickets are done seperatly, and that they would send the seperate confirmation for the tickets out this week.
They told me that the this wont be a problem when we arrive, and that the tickets can be put on our room card at check in.
We are worried because as far as we know, to get the free DDP, everything has to be done as a package.
Has anyone esle done the free DDP with seperate park tickets?

If you have paperwork confirming hotel and free dining I would be happy with that, if you have the tickets with you also. Just take all paperwork with you and Any problems Disney will sort it with ATD but I doubt there will be a problem with what you have.
