We have a multi resort split stay coming up with 3 resorts and the qsddp in each. How do you guys make sure the previous stays credits are used before the newer resorts credits kick in? I hope that was clear.

Technically, you're not supposed to be able to access the next stay's credits until all of the former stay's are used or expired. But we all know how "technology" goes at Disney. Your best bet is to get a paper receipt of what you have left on check-out morning so you at least have some kind of paper trail to back up any issues you may have.

ETA: ALL credits applies to your snack credits too, so if you were planning on using a QS credit from the second stay for a meal on transition day, that won't work if you still have snack credits to use from the first stay.

So that means we have to use all the snack credits from our first stay before we are able to use qs credits from our second stay? That may complicate things a bit more.

Right, as it pertains to the overlap of last day at first resort/first day at second resort. This is how I understand it: your dining credits are good until midnight of your checkout day. So on the day you are transferring between hotels, you need to make sure all of your first stay's credits (snacks included) are used up before you will be allowed to start using the credits attached to your second stay.

This is good to know. We may just pay oop.

OP here. Ok, we will have 2 cs credits left over on the day we move resorts. We will need 6 credits for lunch. Will the system automatically use up our 2 from our first resort stay and take 4 from the new pool?

I know it did for us last year when we did a 3-resort split stay with the dining plan on all three reservations. You might stop by the front desk to make sure the credits are deducted correctly.

Also, some people have been reporting that they have been able to work with the front desk and get credits transferred from the first stay to the second and in your case second to the third.

There were some catches though:
  1. They had the same dining plan with the same number of people for all stays.
  2. They asked at the first resort and the second resort
  3. The CM sprinkled pixie dust and made it work, even though they didn't have to because the people were polite about asking if it could be done.
So, this is not something that will always work, but it never hurts to ask very politely.
