Party of 4 including 2 boys, 16 and 11. They never stop eating so I went with the deluxe dining plan for our very short trip next week. I keep switching around my ADRs, but this is what I have right now:
AKL Check-in day - O'hana for dinner
AK Day breakfast - 1900 Park Fare
Lunch - Tusker House
Dinner - Tiffins
HS Day breakfast - O'hana
Lunch - Backlot Express
Dinner - Yachtsman
Check-out day - The Wave breakfast

Am I getting my money's worth? And I have no idea how to use our snack credits. Any feedback is welcome!

You are going to be spending a lot of time eating and traveling

Ts breakfasts take up the best time of the day, park wise
I don't know where you are staying but your beasts have you traveling all over

Having a buffet breakfast and a bufffet lunch is a lot of food. Pretty close together

Many folks that do dxdp do a signature dinner and either a bfast or a lunch, not both
Many use a snack credit for bfast, bagel or pastry or such, have an early lunch and a signature dinner

You're getting your money's worth in food, but I doubt you'll get your money's worth in park time.

You also don't have enough credits for that Backlot Express. I assume you're paying OOP for that meal.

Are you staying at the poly? I wouldn't make a special trip for the ohana breakfast. H&V would give you much more variety and save a lot of time. Also the Wave and blacklot would not be a good use of a credit, money wise. I too agree 2 buffets and a sit down in 1 day is way too much, even if you have bottomless pits. You can use your snack credits on popcorn, pretzels, funnel cakes, cookies, ice cream, etc. FYI you can get ANY drink at Starbucks for 1 snack credit if that is your thing. We usually grab a bag or 2 of the chip and dales trail mix to take with us in the parks to munch on and that's a credit. Keep in mind it's incredibly hot here right now so that might also decrease your appetite. If you've never done the deluxe plan....it's a TON of food. Keep in mind you get an app, entree and dessert. Or full buffet.

Thank you all!

We visit frequently, but this is the first time staying on property and getting the dining plan so it is all new to me.

We are staying at AKL. I had Boma scheduled for breakfast on checkout day, but kept reading the rave reviews about the Wave so switched it up.

O'hana breakfast and dinner are our must do dining, but I am only doing Tusker House to get ROL seating. I could easy drop it and Backlot Express. I really want to see ROL though.

Awesome that we can get Starbucks with a snack credit! That should make the hubby very happy.

I would skip Ohana all together and eat at all three restaurants at AKL. In my opinion, Boma, Sanaa and Jiko are all much better than Ohana plus they are all at your resort so it will save you a lot of time.

Boma is one of my all time favorite ❤️
It would be a crime to skip it

What I would suggest is make a grid of jeals and time. Assume you are driving? Allow 15 min to walk out of the park, 15 min to get to your car via tram. 15-30 min to get to resort, park and get inside
60-90 min to eat
Then reverse to your next destination

Not eating at your resort or park is a huge time suck

Can you switch your Tiffins ADR to a ROL package? Or you could drop 1900 Park Fare, keep your Tusker House ROL pkg, and try to get an early Boma for that day or eat at Rainforest Café outside AK before the park opens or see if you can get a breakfast Tusker ROL pkg. Lots of options to still do ROL with a package.

Sanaa is a huge favorite of ours. So so good!

This is a great idea and exactly what I did. I scheduled Boma for breakfast for our AK day. Thank you!

We can drive if needed. Would that be faster than Disney transportation?
So, what I now have is:
AKL Check-in day - O'hana for dinner
AK Day breakfast - Boma (early)
Lunch - Tusker House
Dinner - Tiffins
HS Day breakfast - 1900 Park Fare (I can change this one again too as I really scheduled it just for me. LOL I love the GF, Alice and Mary Poppins.)
Dinner - Flying Fish (This seemed easier/faster to get to from HS.)
Check-out day breakfast - O'hana (late)

Any breakfast suggestions close to HS, but not in the park? Our last experience at H&V was just okay.
Also, on a side note, my husband has a business meeting prior to our O'hana dinner reservations so he will meet us at the Poly. How much time should I allow myself and kids to take the bus to the Poly from AKL?

Thank you all so much for your input!

Near HS, I first think Cape May buffet (Beach Club)..I enjoy it when staying in the Boardwalk area, but prefer Boma.
Boardwalk's Trattoria al Forno looks good and seems to have good reviews.

For travel, you have to figure an hour+
You will need a transfer at a park to get to the Poly. I'd consider taking the 1st bus to AK or MK, and then taking a Poly bus.
(note there's a bit of a walk during hot dinner time? at MK to transfer to the monorail (3rd resort stop from MK), boat goes to GF before Poly. Or you could boat or express monorail to TTC and walk to Poly.)

Does the bus from AKL go straight to the parks or to the TTC?
