We are going the first week in Aug. My DH brother and family will be staying with us in a 2br. We are on the DDP. Is there anyway to seperate on the roomkey/DDP cards the 2 different families? They have never been on the DDP and I am really afraid that they are going to mess up our credits as they plan on doing a couple of signiture dinners. If they use the plan for those they will be using our credits. Or if they mess up the snack credits. Is there a way at check in to seperate the credits by family? If not what do you suggest, we have pounded the rules into them but they still seems confused! HELP

There is no way for Disney to separate the credits. If the other family wants, they can spend all the credits.

For the TS meals, it's usually easy for us to plan out in advance. Since we need ADR's, we know months out exactly how and by who those credits will be used.

The snack credits are the toughest to plan for, but it's not a problem for us as we always have extras. That said, I've called my SIL with the "what the heck happened - I just bought a soda and we are suddenly down 5 snack credits". Well, you said we had extra, so we've been spending thema

The only way around that would be to book two separate rooms, a one bedroom and a studio. But that, of course, takes more points.

While a few more points you could get a 1 BR and studio and have separate plans but that's the only way besides doing it yourself. Otherwise just talk to them ahead of time and keep all your receipts. Every couple of days you can get an accounting at the front desk or concierge to check it against what receipts you have. I'll say that if you truly don't trust them, and I get the impression you don't, you're asking for trouble doing the DDP in this manner.

Or forget about doing the DDP. Get an AP and purchase the Disney Dining Experience Card instead. You'll get 20% off most TS restaurants and a few CS restaurants.
