DDP and OOP Adult entrees

Last January we did the DDP for 3 nights with DS10 as an adult. I still love the convenience, but it is really too much food some of the time. This trip we have ADRs at a few places where there is no way DS will eat the whole fancy appetizer/entree/dessert combo (he still has kid-tastes and is a plain chicken or steak kind of boy). I remember reading that sharing was now frowned upon (which is how we managed this issue in January).

Will it be okay to sometimes use DDP credits for DH, myself and DD (child credit) and pay OOP for an adult entree only for DS10, or does everyone on the plan have to use their credits at every meal?

While there were rumors that they would start requiring what you suggest, so far that has not come to pass -- you can pay OOP for some while using Dining Plan credits for others. Just be sure to ask for separate checks at the time you order.
