DDP and DVC

We are going in June with my parents. They are the DVC member and we are staying with them. How late can we add the DDP? We have not purchased the park hoppers yet. Do we add the DDP when we by the tickets or when we get there?

i believe they must add the DDP at least 48 hours in advance of check-in.

there is no ticket requirement for DVC - so you can buy tickets whenever. most DVCers buy tickets from undercovertourist or mapleleaftickets...

They also now require you to pay for the DDP when you add it to the reservation. They used to allow you to pay for it at check-in but no longer.

So we can do it up until 48 hours in advance? I believe my mom emailed them direct and they said that you can add it when you get there? I am confused. I want to verify whichis right so we don't get messed up.

You have to add it 48 hours before your check in day- if you wait until you get there you will just have to pay out of pocket for your food.

If you add it just before your check-in, does that screw up the dining reservations you've already made earlier?

So the resort will add our tickets from undercover to our room keys. Anyone had problems with this?
