DDP and Drinks

Disney Dining Plan says you get a drink with your meal. It says the drink that are not included are Alcoholic, some bottled drinks, refillable drink mugs, slow cube drinks.

So can I order Milk shakes with the DDP? What drink do they let your order and what don't they.

Specialty drinks such as Smoothies and Milk Shakes are at the discretion of the restaurant. Just ask when you order. BTW, what is a "slow cube" drink? Do you mean "glow cube"? They are usually not included, but you can pay extra for the cube.

When we've used the DDP in the past, we've ordered milk shakes and never been charged for them. We've even ordered coffee at the end of our meal (including the milk shake) and not been charged since we've had two different kinds of drinks. Hope it's the same this time.
