DDP and Disney Visa reward points (DVC add-on)

I'm adding the dining plan to our DVC reservation for April. I have been told by Member Services that I have to pay at check-in, but they didn't know the answer to this question. Can I pay for the dining plan using the $500+ in reward dollars I've earned? Has anyone done this?

Yes, you can. I used my reward card to pay part of the balance on our room. It didn't include the Dining Plan (obviously, since DVC members can't even get that until April 1, 2006), but I don't see any difference.

The rewards card is accepted almost everywhere at WDW - I'm positive you can use it to pay for the DP when you check in.
