DDP and Candlelight Processional dinner pkg

I'm quite certain this has been asked before - so my apologies up front!

Can you use 1 TS from the DDP to pay for your CP dinner package?
I see there are "tiers" for the restaurants in Epcot for the Candlelight processional dinner packages. Do different tiers take more TS credits?

We will all have to wait and see. The CP dinner package usually becomes available for sale on July 1 or so.

In 2007 we still had an appetizer on the basic DP and the CP dinner includes an appetizer. It's hard to say if Disney will allow it this year on the DP as 1 credit. Also, the tiers may end up having to do with how many credits you'll use with the DP, now. It wasn't an issue before, but this year there are new rules.

I called about a week ago and the Disney CM went to guest relations and his supervisor. He said to try calling back mid June and there might be some answers at that time.

making ressies for this starting June 23 or 28. CMs are giving both answers from dining reservations.

It looks like DDP qualifies for credit to it, but I can't tell you 1 credit or not.

CP has always been one credit on DDP....don't see why it would change now. It didn't matter if you booked a tier 1 or a tier 3 restaurant. With the changes to the DDP this year (no appetizer, no tip) I think it evens out for Disney, even though CP is just the one credit.

All the restaurants listed are 1-credit restaurants. There are no two-credit restaurants at Epcot. The tier designations are not relevant to the dining plan.

We will have to wait to see if the CP dinner package includes an appetizer. The Fantasmic dinner package does, even if you are on the basic dining plan.

Because this is a package deal, which would be paid for at booking for those who are paying, WDW would either have to include an appetizer with all packages, or eliminate the appetizer from all packages. The other alternative is to move to permitting booking with cash only, not the dining plan. I doubt they will do this but there's no way to know until they can officially be booked.
