DDP and Buffets

I did a quick search and couldn't find anything that regarded my question.
I was looking over the official Disney site for info on the DDP, and I saw a notation along the lines that when eating at an all-you-care-to-eat restaurant (like buffet, family style service), DDP meals were NOT all-you-care-to-eat and you could only go to the buffet once.
My husband and I don't intend to strap on the feedbag forever, but we do tend to like to go back for small seconds, or to get more of something our 2 year old particularly liked. How strict are they on this?

Not true. If a place is all that you care to eat, that's always, not just with DDP. Eat away!

At buffets and all you care to eat family style restaurants there is no limit on visits to the buffet or requests for additional food to be brought to your table.

It is poorly worded on the Disney website, but what you read was a reference to kosher meals. At buffets and AYCTEs, if you order a pre-made kosher meal in advance, only one meal per person will be provided.

We never had this issue?!? I was not even aware that it stated that. :confused3

Read it again, carefully - you'll probably see that particular phrase is regarding kosher meals when they are requested at a buffet restaurant. Nothing to do with DDP or anything else. Kosher meals are brought in from outside WDW as the Disney restaurants do not have kosher kitchens, so they can only provide one meal per person.
