OK, so I cannot find where I read this (or if I dreamt it...lol)!

I thought I read that a voucher (?) for using the kids club babysitting at one of the resorts is included with the dining plan? Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks!

Never heard of such a thing, sorry. (I mean the voucher, I've heard of the services.)

I think if you dine at one of the nicer Swan/Dolphin restaurants (bluezoo or Shula's, for example) there is some kind of credit you get for child care or their kids club. NOT at any Disney resort or kids' club that I have ever heard.

Oh, I think I know what you mean!

When you book a package (hotel, park tickets, dining plan) you get a bunch of vouchers for different things, such as:

100 Play Points at a resort arcade
15% off regular price of Guided Bass Fishing
One free round of golf at Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland
etc

One of the vouchers is for "15% off the regular hourly rates at any Children Activity Center at Walt Disney World Resort. Minimum charge of two (2) hours per child. Services available for children ages 3-12". It goes on with some more fine print, but you get the idea. Its not a voucher for free care, rather, a discount coupon.

Hope this helps!

These voucher books also have nothing to do with the dining plan. They are included with all Disney package reservations, including packages that do not have the dining plan added. A "package" is room plus tickets; it may or may not include the dining plan, which is a package add on. There are also some ticketless packages with dining available to annual passholders.

Is this a new addition to the vouchers? Our package in August didn't have this and I would have really loved to have it. I hope they keep it around until our next trip.

I really don't know. We've done packages before and I can't remember if they had them or not. I haven't used the kids clubs, but we have done a few of the pirate sailings for the kids.

This came with our paperwork for our one night stay at Port Orleans Riverside on Feb 5, right before our stay at BLT.

Sorry I can't be more help on this.
