DDP and a split stay

So if I am at Disney for 2 days and have the dinning plan I get 2 TS, 2CS and 2 SC. What if I did a split stay, say 4 days at POFQ and 5 days at AKL and want the dinning plan, is that a total of 9 credits or 10 because I check in on day 5 but my day 4 credits are still good? I guess my question is do I get the DDP for the length of my stay or is it per day of my reservation at each resort? Sorry if this is confusing?

Your credits are based on nights stayed. Also, at midnight on the day you check out of your first resort, your first stay's credits will expire.

Just so you know, if you split your stay, you will have to buy min. of a one day, base ticket, for each person, for each resort. That's the reason my family doesn't split our stays when we can get the free DDP.
