My wife and I are expecting our first child in April, and we are planning a trip in December of 2007. Our baby will be close to 9 months old. If we get the MYW package plus dining, will the baby also be included (dining, that is)? If I book online and specify the childs age, will the system automatically NOT include dining for the baby, or how does that work? We've used the DDP before and loved it. This will be the first time we go with a little one. :thanks: in advance!!!

Since the child is under the age of three, she/he is not included on the plan. He/she can eat off your plate or partake in buffet meals. But if you order from the menu, you pay for it.

Children under 3 are listed on the reservation, but are free for park admission and dining - they can eat off an adult's plate for free (especially good at buffets) or you can pay separately for something off the kids menu (or regular adult menu). So any price you're quoted for a package should only be for 2 adults.

There is no cost for a 9 mo old. A child that age would eat so little resturant food any way. You can give him "bites" off you plate if you wish or perhaps a few things off a buffet. You can order him a kids meal but i can not inage an infant eating much of anything on those. You will most likely still be going a lot of baby food and perhaps a few things you can get at a resturant such as youget , a little friut or pasta or perhaps some soft veggies!!!

Your baby will be too young to eat from the children's menu. I believe that children under the age of 3 are not included in the DDP.

you cannot get the dining plan for a child under 3 years of age. You would have to make the child older when booking but this would also mean you have to buy a park ticket for the child.

A 9 month old will still be eating baby foods and drinking formula or BM anyway. They might eat a few soft things from your plate but would never even be able to come close to finishing a kids meal.

Just a tip. Make sure when you call for your reservations that you tell them that you are for three. You will get a bigger table. We saw a very snotty CM at Donald's really chew a family out for not including the baby in their total party size. They had to wait for a bigger table to fit them all in.
