My hubby just called the number and they said not to worry...alot of rumors going around.....We do not need to get our DDE on our AP's until March and we will be paying the same price. 50 dollars ......so WHO DO WE KNOW WHO IS SPEAKING CORRECTLY....
Call the number and see what response you get ......My husband just said......SEE I DON"T BELIEVE HIM......well I always like it in black and white and in front of me to look at......

I just ordered my DDE card today. I was also told that it may or may not go up in price on Jan 1st. She said they aren't told in advace but also heard the rumor. I decided not to wait and see.

I called today too. The CM asked when mine expired and I told her 2/28 but I wanted to buy before the price increase. She paused but didn't add any info nor did I ask. Guess I should have.

More than the potential price increase, I wanted the second card free. We usualy dine together but some years just DS2 and I are down for trips/partial trips.

I guess time will tell but at most I'm out a little interest. The month I lost is OK since we don't plan to go next Feb at this point.

We're going to be ordering ours this week since ours expire soon anyway, but I'm glad to hear about the (possible?) price increase ahead of time.

The second card thing is a big deal for us, since even though we always go together, if for some reason we didn't have the second card, we know that a situation would come up that one of us would be there and not the other. Murphy's law and all that.
