I am sure this has been addressed in the past, but I am curious as to what the DDE is and how it works. Myself, dh, and 2 dd's ages 7 and 9 will be going at the end of Sept. this year. TIA

DISNEY DINING EXPERIENCE is a dining discount program for eligible Florida Residents and Annual Passholders 21 and older good for 20 percent off food and beverage at a number of Walt Disney World Resort hotel and theme park restaurants and lounges. The discount is good for up to 10 persons in your party. (Prior to 2005, the DDE, as it is commonly called, was only open to Florida residents.)

You have to be an annual passholder or florida resident to get the DDE card. It gives you 20% off at most table service restaurants and lounges at WDW.

We did the DDP last year and now thinking of trying DDE this year. We would probably only get one DDE for either my husband or me. Who has had experiences with which adult would be better suited for getting the DDE? Also, has anyone found that it was worth the $ for both adults to have access to use it?

because husband and myself are usually together when we eat meals....we only purchased one DDE card.......one time it was in my name because I called and ordered it. but he is usually the one holding the tray so its both of us together like I said.....so it really doesnt matter whose name it is in......
We will be getting one for our visit in May ......
