We have always gotten the DDE but now I have a new question. I read soemwhere that the DDE was not good during the period when Holiday surcharges are applied. That would be the entire time we are there in March. Does anyone know the deal with DDE and the surcharges? I thought it was the actual day (like Easter) but now it seems like it might be the whole time period.

I don't know why February 23 is listed, but May 11 is Mother's Day, 4th of July is obvious, so is Thanksgiving day itself. Then there is both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as well as New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

February 23 is most likely an error, and the actual date is March 23 (Easter Sunday).

President's Day is February 18. Historically, it has not been a DDE blackout day.
