DDE Report

I just returned. Used DDE e-mail with no problem. Saved about $53 in 5 meals, 3 adults. Used it at LeCellier, Prime Time 50's, Boma, LTT, Rose & Crown. I did take a backup copy, good thing I did because I think I left my original one in the bill folder at Boma. Just handed the letter to the waitress with my driver's license. Did not need to show my AP. I ordered it on 1/24, I noticed it was charged to my credit card on 3/2, so the cards should be arriving soon.

We just got back from our first trip using it and had no problems either. It was great. Since a manager has to approve it, we waited a little longer for the check to come back at a couple of places but that was it.

We were at LTT, R&C (well, not me), and Le Cellier as well!

Debbie, I did the same thing except at Rose & Crown I think. I was sure glad I had an extra copy, but I will be more happy when the card actually arrives.

Here is the breakdown of how we did with the DDE on our 5 day trip last week. All breakfasts were in our room, and the party size changed as the week went on.

Sunday
dinner - 2 adults - Yacht Club Galley saved $9
Monday
lunch - 1 ad/2 jr - AK Pizzafari - saved $4
dinner - 2 adults - Rose & Crown - saved $10
Tuesday
lunch - 3 adults - Grand Floridian Tea - saved $17
dinner - 3 ad/2 jr - ESPN - saved $14
Wednesday
lunch - Earl of Sandwich (not accepted)
dinner - in room
Thursday
lunch - 2 ad/2 jr - Coral Reef - saved $25 (Gram had a $15 glass of wine!)
dinner - Big River Grille (not accepted)

So, if I remembered and added correctly, I saved $69 on this visit. With another 5 days in June, 4/5 in November and next school vacation in February, I think this is one of the smartest things I have done.

So great to see how much everyone is saving. DH and I are using DDE for our 7-day trip in May, and it will really come in handy for our October trip with family.

Thanks for the report. DDE is really a great thing for AP holders. I saved $43 in 4 days in Jan and have 2 more trips coming up before it expires.
