DDE purchase?!

Hello everyone - we got our DVC AP vouchers in the mail and now I'm trying to get our DDE. I called 407-566-5858 and all I get is a recording that they are closing today at 3:15 eastern and then I get hung up on - well it's 12:15 right now! Do they close for lunch, does anyone know?

It took me a while to get through when I purchased mine in February and then it took a while to get the cards. I used it on a Disney trip in March and it more than paid for itself. Keep trying!

A little OT.....how many of you have been successful purchasing DDE card with AP voucher. I have seen some posters say they were told that they had to activate the AP first, then call the DDE office from WDW and have a letter faxed to guest relations at EPCOT.

I was very successful, had no trouble at all. You do NOT have to activate the AP first, they only need the #'s from the back of the voucher.

I just got our card a few minutes ago with a voucher, no problem. I also got through on the phone today with no problem. She asked for my AP number first but when I told her I just had the voucher she told me the info she needed from that. A pleasant surprise was that we get two copies of the card. Maybe the people who had problems just said they didn't have their APs yet, or maybe they should have hung up and called back for another CM. It was all very simple and quick.
