I must not be able to search efficiently since I can't find anything about the DDE card on the Disney website. I've been using the unofficial sites we are familiar with for info but thought I would confirm. Now that its not just an obscure FL resident thing but open to all AP holders, shouldn't the basics be spelled out on Disney's website?

If you log into the passholder section go to the discounts/benefits area and you'll find a link to the info in the dining section.

Thanks. My pass expired and I won't get another until I'm up there and order the DDE the same day. Too bad the information readily available.

Do you know if it still says you can park at the theme parks for free with the DDE card after 5pm? I used that feature last year and just wonder if it still applies.

I'm looking at the brochure that I got with my DDE renewal letter, and it reads:
"If driving through the Disney Toll Plaza after 5 p.m., the Disney's Dining Experience membership card will allow members to pass through at no charge."

.

Just be aware that you cannot order or get the DDE card at the parks. You have to order it in advance. if you want to cut it close you can order it a few days ahead and arrange to pick it up at guest relations at Epcot.

You cannot order the DDE at any Guest Services location at the parks. You can call the DDE order number during their normal operating hours--there is nothing to prevent you from making the call from the parks. The temporary card can be picked up at Epcot Guest Services outside the main gate 24 hours after you call the purchase line. The permanent card is mailed to your home 2-6 weeks after purchase.

Yes, I would prefer to order in advance. When I called to order the CM pointed out that while I could order now as a FL resident for $85, but if I waited until arrival, obtained my AP, called for DDE that day, and picked it up at Epcot that night, I would save $25. She said later that day as oppose to 24 hours so I may call back and confirm. Thanks everyone.

Could you post what you find out after you call back please? I'm planning on doing the same thing.

Called back and confirmed. If you call between 9-5, M-F, and sign up for DDE, the temporary card will be available at Epcot GS after 5:30.

Does anyone have the # to call for the DDE card? I just received my AP in the mail and we're leaving next week! :teeth:
