Dde & Ddp

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this and I tried to run a search in case it has been asked before, but it kept freezing or not loading at all....sooooo

My question is this:
If I go on the DDP and have an bill for extras can I use my DDE card to get 20% of the extras (alcoholic drinks, speciality drinks, the occassional app)?

As far as I know, you can. Keep in mind, tho, the DDE only works at TS. For instance, DH & I hit the bar at AKL, the one above Boma. Our DDE is not accepted there. We went downstairs and sat at the bar inside Jiko, and 20 percent was taken off our wine orders.

Same thing with, say, Rose & Crown. If you sit at the bar/lounge of a TS restaurant, you'll get the 20 percent off. If you just hit a standalone bar or cart, it's not accepted (like the bar in Africa at AK doesn't accept it.)

We went in December it worked at all the lounges including the one above Boma. Actually all the lounges are listed on the sheet they give you when you get the card.

Someone did a thread last week about ddp and dde. Everyone said they were allowed to use it on the OOP items like extra apps or drinks while using ddp for the meal.

It's okay. The search never works for me either. Plus I think it might have been asked over on the dining plan board.

We did it as well. It made a big difference if we wanted a glass of wine or something.
