DDE card - UURRGGHH!

Okay, so I got my cards in the mail and they spelled both my name and hubby's wrong. I called them and told them to mail me cards with correct spelling asap. I really hate having my name spelled wrong. Anyway, I had not received my cards after several months and had to call again. Keep in mind this is a long distance call for me. I told them the situation and they told me they would mail me new cards. I just got my new cards and my name is still spelled wrong. Who is not doing their job correctly?
This kind of stuff just gets my so mad!

I've had problems with name spelling - it didn't end up being a big deal, I think I just made sure they had it right on the next card (a year later).

I didn't know anyone was still paying long distance! Between Vonage and our pay-as-you-go phone (or our previous cell phone), long distance hasn't been an issue. Before that, I used a phone card (oh, the good old days!)

My name is spelt wrong on my card too. You'd think "Charlotte" would be fairly straight forward, but funnily enough it gets misspelt all the time! Doesn't really bother me in this case though, as I'm sure it won't cause a problem. Hey, at least my surname is spelt right and that's the tricky one!

My last name is one that is misspelled & mispronounced often, even though it a common word, so I know it can be aggravating. However, for something as minor as the DDE card (the only people to see them are you and your servers) I think I'd let it go. It's been months already, you say, and they expire after a year. Hopefully they'll get it corrected when you renew. Pick your battles, a legal document or actual credit card, I would pursue the spelling, for an annual discount card, as long as they honor it, I'd let it go.

Yes, that's one variation I haven't seen yet thankfully! I have however had mail addressed to Charolette, Sharlotte, Sharlet, Shallot and - my favourite - Scarlett Lacroix!

Like Chuck S said, as long as it's not a legal document or similar I just let them get on with it...
