DDE card expiration?

hi ... i just ordered a AP voucher that i will not activate until our 12/05 trip

is the DDE on the same system? ... meaning if i order it now does it expire 12 months from now or 12 months from when i activate it?

does anyone know how long the $50 DDE deal is suppose to last ...
do you think i'd be able to buy one when i check into my resoprt in december?

also where can they be purchased?
i ordered my AP over the phone

I believe that when you purchase the DDE - that is the start date of the card. Unlike the AP. I would wait.

You can't purchase the DDE at the resort, only over the phone. It's listed in the 2005 benefits so the discount should last until year end. The phone # to order is 407-566-5858. If you order now, it will expire 1/31/06. If you are planning another trip in 2006, I would wait so that your card will be valid longer.

The expiration on the DDE card will be a year from the month you purchased it. So, say your DDE started on January 16th, it would expire January 31th of the next year. Then if you renew, it would go from end month to end of month the following year. I guess this allows for the time it will take you to get the DDE in the mail.
