DDE card at POR

I thought I had read that the DDE card can be used at the POR food court. Has anyone been able to use it there? Thanks!

Usually the DDE card can be used at counter service places IF there is no table service available - like at AK and the All Stars. But POR has Boatwrights, so I bet not.

we have used our DDE card for counter service as recent as Oct 06. So, unless something has changed recently I would say yes.

I avoid that food court as much as possible. So it has been awhile since I have used it there. But I have with no issues what so ever when I did use my DDE card there.

We used the card the end of Jan. at POR in the food court even though they had the plated meals during construction. We also used it the year before that in the food court. We asked them before using it each time and they said yes.

It is not on the list so technically no but as reported people have been successful using it. I'm not sure why that is. You can definitely use it at the POFQ food court since it does not have a sit down restaurant.

I am looking at my DDE card list that I just got in the mail with my card, Th following are listed:

Boatwrights
River Roost

French Quarter-
Scat Cats
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory

Technically it is not on the listing provided by the DDE folks so your card cannot be used there. It appears there are CMs who will allow it, but if they don't there is nothing for you to complain about.

Good point! We have used it at the River Roost because it is listed, but never tried at the food court for the reason you mentioned.

A little OT, but if you haven't seen Bob Jackson perform at the River Roost you are really missing a great show. Also, the CM's working there are great!!!

There was a short period of time when the DDE card wasn't being accepted at POR, but that was a couple of years ago. Of course, it can change anytime!

I don't know if it's because POF doesn't have it's own sit-down, and so both take it. But either way, I've used it at both resorts in the past week (twice at POR, once at POF).
