The squirrel pic is now saved for utilization elsewhere....:rotfl2:

I live close to the ocean...AND I fish, and I don't eat fish either...save for maybe once a year....:confused3:banana:

:surfweb: FBI Director is in our office today. Which means I have to wear a suit...which means this morning sucks...

Since it's after Thanksgiving I'll just go ahead and get this out of the way :santa::

Ferguson seems like such a nice place for a visit......:sad2:

When I got home yesterday, she was reviewing a time share website that her friend hooked her up with. Using her timeshare, we could pay a total of $200 for the room. Add in about $250 for gas and that's not a bad total.

We would leave Thursday afternoon, drive to S.C., stay at her brothers house and drive all day Friday. That leaves some of Friday and all of Sat/Sun for fun. Then come home Monday. That's a lot of driving for only a little fun. Plus two more days of missed school for the kids. Not sure I want to do this. But I'm going to make FP+ reservations just in case.

So it's back on.:cool1::cool1::cool1:

It used to be. Not much left of the city after they burned it down. A pretty sad example for the next generation. Don't like something, go burn down someone's business and steal what you can.

Good morning gentlemen

The crud has officially left the house. I'm still trying to figure out how Peanut didn't get sick. I have two theories: 1) she moves too fast for the germs to catch her, 2) she is too stubborn to get sick.

Prayers out your way too....I can't fathom which way to go with this.
Sorry to hear about your ills over Thanksgiving. When my oldest was like 2.5 YO, she got a violent stomach bug. we missed Thanksgiving. I remember an elderly woman in the ER making a comment to her daughter about me "letting her eat too much junk and that's why she's here." I did not sit by quietly. My patience were gone. I provided the lady with the facts. My daughter ended up with an IV and Zofran for her nausea. Hopefully you guys are all on the mend.

As for the hearing issues, I hope that you get the best possible solution. It's a million times worse seeing our children go through these types of things. Thoughts and prayers, friend.
Sorry to hear your family was ill over the holiday weekend. Prayers being sent that you find the best solution.
I hope everything continues to work out :thumbsup2
Always worse when the children are sick.
Sorry to hear about your Thanksgiving and continued prayers your way for a solution with stitch - may the force be with you and your family.
Now, y’all need to get over this being sick stuff.
Sorry that the second opinion didn’t include better options, but knowing as many fact as possible will lead to the best decisions.
May you find the right path.

Thanks guys. The more we think about it, even if he only has 50-75% normal hearing, that's better than nothing. He has one good ear. This would just help with locating sounds which I think would be critical when riding a bike or being active.

Prayers for those in need; Praise for those deserving; Disney, Dole Whips & Bacon for All!
:thumbsup2
DW just texted me and asked when the APs expire. Could she be planning something? Does the Year of Chris have one more chapter in it? Will we see another teaser trailer for Star Wars soon? Answers to these questions and many more coming soon to a post near you!
False alarm. She was thinking of having us drive down for a weekend (Dec 13-14). Then she saw the prices for rooms. As quickly as that dream was hatched, it was dashed.

Again...living so close to the ocean and not a fish eater. :sad2:
Isn't that like living in Texas and being a vegan? :confused3
:rotfl2::rotfl2:
It is a childhood thing. Almost choked to death on a fish bone (true story). Shall we say it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Just about anything that swims and has a shell, I'll eat. Lobster, shrimp, clams, crab... Not a fan of oysters and mussels.

Howdy dads, long time no see.
Glad to see yall took care of the place while I was away. Beer in the fridge, bacon on the stove.
Norm what's that smell?
I missed an entire thread so I am not going to try and get caught up;

Welcome new guys
Bacon to those who deserve it
Prayers to those who need it
And Beer for everyone cause I'm that kinda guy.
Seriously Norm whats that smell??

Work has been crazy, missed out on taking any days off this year except for 3 days after my wife's surgery, but I have 15 days banked for next year and I plan on taking most of them.
First trip in March is 10 days with my wife for the honeymoon we never got. Headed west for a Vegas and LA trip. Gonna have 2 days at DISNEYLAND just the grown ups.
Also working on a plan to go back to the World in August with the kiddos.
Hope to stay caught up this time.

Welcome back.

So it's back on.:cool1::cool1::cool1:

I think if the little one is 44 inches, we go. I'll measure her with high heels (on her, not me) and tip toes tonight. We could also hit MVMCP while we're there. FP+'s are all set!!

Welcome back Cliff!

Check's in the mail Cliff!

Fixed it for you David!

I just got home from our work Holiday Party. Open bar. First time in YEARS. I had some quality 1 on 1 chats with important people and even got some attaboys from managers that I didn't think knew me! I also witnessed a few people that got their moneys worth! There will be some regrets in the morning.

For Fed I had to present something to our CIO so I was also dressed up today so I feel your pain!

Morning all. Today's work plan is to have a meeting at the Chinese buffet restaurant. I wore my stretchy pants in anticipation.

Tell him I said Hi. I have a feeling he's personally reviewed my file on numerous occasions. :rolleyes1
.

You're a bad@$$. I'm sure you have warranted top secret surveillance monitoring from the FBI. What did you do? Eat a bunch of cheese and threaten to take a dump in one of their office buildings? :lmao:

That's a lot of driving for only a little fun. Plus two more days of missed school for the kids. Not sure I want to do this. But I'm going to make FP+ reservations just in case.

See how much money you gave saved with those APs? :lmao:
Still, one more visit in the year of Chris sounds great..

It used to be. Not much left of the city after they burned it down. A pretty sad example for the next generation. Don't like something, go burn down someone's business and steal what you can.

They're not looters - they're liberators. :scared1: :eek: :sick: :mad: :sad1:

.

By that logic, I must be really stubborn as I don't move very fast anymore. I had the week off rotation from tennis, and after playing last night, and even more sore.

No suits. Just stretchy pants. Glad to hear you got some recognition. Any chance that will find a way to your paycheck?

Well done :thumbsup2

Good morning fellow dads! Hope all is well! In Disney news, Yesterday we paid off our balance at the Grand Californian for the Star Wars 1/2 trip, 41 more days!! And still trying to finish Christmas decorations lol.

Now that is my type of meeting!

No suits. Just stretchy pants. Glad to hear you got some recognition. Any chance that will find a way to your paycheck?
Possibly.The suits being familiar with my body of work makes it easier for my manager to get my raise and incentive approved. Regardless, it's nice to know your efforts don;t go unnoticed all the time!

Adding more days to vacation is a bad thing?:confused3:confused3

See Jim, I'd rather use the vaca days FOR Disney, rather than AFTER Disney. We've been back for about a month and Thanksgiving and all of the Christmas time functions and events are helping to keep my mind off of the fact that I'm not there, but some days the "I'm not at WDW" depression kicks in! The struggle is real, my friend.

Wow, that's a lot of pressure to put on the kid.
"Honey, if your head touches this line, we go to Disney. If not, then your siblings will possibly eradicate you."
