Afternoon gentlemen, Thanks to all the dads who served.

Sandal season is officially over. We got knicked by all three bands of snow that have come through. We have less than an inch of white crap but those just 40 miles north have over 10 inches.

Norm, if you don't make it to the world, who am I going to live vicariously through?

Antibiotics are wonderful things. Miss our weekly rapid fire of the Amazing Race. Like the Brooklyn girls and the food scientists but not a fan of the dentists.

The dentists might be just a teeny tiny bit easier to tolerate than the twinnies. But it is close. Are they trying to hand them this season? Talk about a team catching all the breaks.

I like the surfers and bikers the best this season so far. Food scientists are alright too. The wrestlers are that team that is borderline annoying/comic relief, but they can go anytime and I'll hardly care.

But I digress... I miss those convos too. I never watch it live, but I'd DVR it and kind of read through them as I watched it.

Greetings from the lunch room. Man I need to stop doing this shift, money be damned. Not in charge but I'm running things.

Ceremonies were nice today. The girls marched with the guides/ scouts in the parade and got to lay a wreath at the cenotaph. The church service was good and like a good Dad I stood so others could use the seat. Met up with sone of Dad's buddies from the Firefighter contingency too. Eerie part was where I stood in church I found out later was where there is a plaque dedicated to a William Kee ( my middle and last name) who died in WW1. Need to find if it is a relation. Hope all is well with you all.

Booked our 2015 October trip today. Currently at BLT with Lake View. I think our target resort is VWL though. We'll see if I can get it 7 months out.

While I know I will feel like a dirty, cheating sleazeball being at Universal, we are planning to spend some time there next trip to satisfy my daughter's HP infatuation. I'm a fan, too, but not enough to make me want to go to Universal. If you do go Norm, please make sure to bring back a strategy for my me!

I'm getting a free vacation. Yes, I'm cheap and easy.

I'll let you know. But, since BIL is in charge, which means my DW has to do all the planning which he gets to reject, it won't be a commando/ accomplishing trip. I look for a lot of wasted time as none of them listen to me.

We were able to get VWL at the 7 month mark in October. DW hated it because the pine trees really messed with her allergies. I really liked the resort and riding the boat over the water bridge to the MK. Both pools are really lacking, and there isn't a community hall. But, it has a really large beach with some activities and of course the movies.

It's a federal stat holiday here and it is observed in all but 4 provinces. Even before it was a stat holiday in this province, pretty much all employers honoured the holiday.

I thought Port Credit did a pretty good job, very well attended, very noticeable police presence too. There was a fly-by by a formation of planes, a nice little parade from the local Legion Hall to the cenotaph, good church service, and ceremonies with the wreath laying representing all conflicts and branches, First Nation units, UK and Dutch representatives etc. Besides, it might be the last non-stat Rememberance Day anyways, it looks like the stat holiday is getting pushed through.

It's that magical time of the year where I go for my annual physical. Usually, my doctor will tell me I'm too fat. Then, all the lab results are done and everything is normal. But, I also go buy lotto tickets today. I figure that I'm getting good news out of this deal somehow.
