I think you are either too late or super early!:rotfl:

That would be late.

It was a great day for the drive, highway was bare and the sun was shining.

Shortly after we got here we sent DS to his cousins for the night and now we are just relaxing after dinner. I'm sure there will be some card playing in our near future.

Good Morning Guys!:wave2:

Felt well enough to go back to work today.:thumbsup2for feeling better, :mad:because I'm at work. Hoping this thing is on it's way out. How are you feeling today Steve? Hopefully better.

Pain and most swelling is gone. Just still have the firmness of the gland now. I will call them next week if it is still there or swells more. Wish it would go away.

My grand plan to set up a thread to keep people updated on our adoption story just isn't going to happen. It's more work than I care to do and I can sum up the whole thing with this:

It ain't gonna happen.

We had a long talk (via google translate) with her last night where my wife and I were pretty much the only ones talking. We asked if she wanted us to come to Ukraine and get her. She said no. So that's the end of that. Thanks for your prayers and words of encouragement. DW and I are doing fine. I'm not sad at all- in fact I'm relieved that after 5 months of wondering, we at least have an answer and can now think about other things.

Oh yeah- if you want details and pictures, my wife kept a blog. www.themoretheperryer.blogspot.com

Sorry to hear it didn't work out Chris.

In the mail today was a special offer from the Florida Marlins. They gave me the option of buying season tickets THREE WEEKS BEFORE THEY GO ON SALE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. Think I should take them up on it? Wonder how many people will?

Dude, that's a steal. Jump all over it before you get shuffled to the bottom of a season ticket list like Barry is for the packers. Who knows, they might win something with a dollar store payroll again one of these years before they clean house again.

We usually give our kids their presents on their birthday. They usually get plenty from the grandparents, friends, etc on the party day.

Evening....

Had my specialist appointment, it's going to lead to more. :sad2: Basicly a "fungus" was found, that can lead to more serious complications...eventually...maybe. It's rare to find in a healthy body, usually those with weak immune systems, transplant patients etc, not in (relatively) healthy folks. So now a whole bunch more tests etc are ordered, they took what fely like 1/2 my blood out, and a CAT scan comming, to make sure there are no hidden issues. Getting a wee bit tired of itall, I admit. C'est la vie.:rotfl2:
