Remind me not to stand next you in the bathroom.....ever. :rotfl:

"Poised on the threshold of infinity, we see our world as it truly is: small, silent, fragile, alive, a drifting island in the midnight sky. It is our spaceship. Our Spaceship Earth."

And Dave SUCKS

;) :thumbsup2

:lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

Heading 8 miles north so you can pay the in-state tuition?

But they'll gladly take his out of state tuition money! :lmao:

Of course they will. I was thinking of moving to NH so DS could go to UNH. In state tuition there is awesome!

Of course they'll take it. And anything else they can get their hands on.;)

The only thing is, that state to the north probably doesn't want him there even more than he doesn't want to be there. :rolleyes1

Not true…
They’d even accept you into the fold if you were willing to pay the vastly inflated tax bills.
There’s just no accounting for taste where potential economic gain is the priority.

Once we looked at what was available and sat down and worked through the math; the increase in property rates combined with the city/county/state taxes, fees and utilities nearly equaled any potential reduction in tuition (and we’d have had to wait a year before that would be available anyway). Between that, the increased amount of general regulations imposed and the fact the folks up in Raleigh have lost their minds to the point that they are making my pathetic excuses for elected officials appear both more sane and moderate (no small task there to be sure) it seemed to me that staying in the town we like and cutting the house payment made more sense.

Besides, when I get around to actually changing states…
I won’t be headed north.

Yes… yes they will.
Their discussing rising the percentage of out of stat students prescribed by law as well so they’ll gladly take anyone’s money.

If it weren’t the best place for him though, I wouldn’t have agreed to it.
We actually went up there this past weekend to visit, take in several performances and watch the ball team lose another game (but the band rocked so who cares). He’s actually doing quite well up there. So thus far… it’s been worth the investment.

Who do you think you are quoting yourself? :confused3
Really??? You pop in here like, what, once a year now? And this is the most productive thing you have to say? :rolleyes1

Well, now that you put it that way.

Something tells me it won't be east either... :rolleyes1

Well, that's what's important. I'm glad he's off to a good start there! :thumbsup2

I thought when we come back, we just act like we never left.

I'm sorry if I offended you.

Here take this flower as a token of my goodwill. :flower3:

Yes, you're right. I felt like that response was pretty similar to a response you might get around here at any time. :thumbsup2 If you are going to give me a token of goodwill, make it a 6 pack of Yuengling.

Come on now. Get on over to that TR that has been lingering on life support for the past several months. :lmao::rotfl2:

The Yuengling may be doable. My dad just just brought me a case from his recent travels. My door is open- feel free to stop by anytime. ::yes::

I just uploaded more pics... there might be a little action over there tonight. :surfweb:

Wow Andy - don't sugar coat it....tell him how you really feel! :rotfl:

Glad to hear he is doing well :thumbsup2

I haven't hit that yet, but I occasionally get ticked off and want to smack some of the people in the TPA&S board and leave for months at a time.

Some of those people need to be smacked.

Especially the ones that don't get sarcasm. Everyone here understands sarcasm, except for YOU (you know who YOU are).

And see, I found a new TPA&S person that needs smacked. . .which is why my nemesis is the TPA&SSholes.

You try to get some new info out there, and he/she just wants to tell everyone that the mods are going to lock the thread.

Well I will say this.... The boss sure knows how to motivate someone. She showed me the provincial rankings for beer sales ... Our store is ranked 48th out of 2-3 hundred stores.

My old store which I laboured on is freaking 21 (and dropping). Meaning I had it WELL established. My focus now is to kick their @ss! I think she knew it was going to light a fire under me, but it also showed her what I am capable of.

Hey, nemesis, congrats on the win yesterday. If Green just had forgot to get on the bus, I would have won that matchup.

I thought when we come back, we just act like we never left:

You left?

If you are going to give me a token of goodwill, make it a 6 pack of Yuengling.
:

I'm confused. :confused3. Is Andy or Tim buying me a Yuengling?

DVC adding villas at Poly - it looks official now:

I figured out I am subscribed to way too many Disney sites as they all blew up with that news. It finally was a good announcement after learning CarsLand is staying in DL.
