After ours goes through, we won't be able to afford DVC. Not that I can really afford it now.

The SSR points we bought through resale will pay for themselves in about 5 years based on our historical trips. the points we bought from disney will take much longer to break even.

Fidelity has a 300 point BWV contract for around $50/pt. It's stripped, but I'd jump on that if it's still there in several months.

I was suprised when they did ours. they were measuring the distance from potential future daugthers bedroom to the bathroom and measuring how big the room was. I'm pretty sure our house is nicer than an institution in China.

Even for a good price I'm too impatient to buy a stipped contract. our SSR contract was fully loaded and its got a Sept UY. We've already got trips booked in Jan and Feb when we get the points I think we'll add one in March. Jan is 4 days and Feb is only 2.5 days though.
