Five inches of snow last night at SH. The kid was excited and had to run out and play. Posted a few pictures on FB including a snow angel she tried to make. Adding one more here. She brought a friend outside with her and they built Frosty.

Wow. Impressed she has a winter hat already. Or did she borrow it?

Was Brian driving and posting again? :lmao:

actually, I think in his case it's posting and driving. Semantics, I know, but posting is the primary action. Everything else is secondary.

We made it to Orlando, on Magical Express headed to the "World."

Very nice!! Have a great time!!

Thank you, it's 150 pts and they were asking 67 and I offered 65 and they accepted within an hour, looking back at it I should of gone lower but I'm a newbie so ill chock it up to being a first timer and overall I'm very happy with the purchase , I'm not sure yet when we will stay at SSR for the first time, the next trip on the books is Oct 2013 at GC DL and I would like to do BLT our next WDW trip so after that should be SSR

Wow, a rare literary reference in these here parts.

I thought it was a movie?? You mean to tell me it was a comic book too??

Howdy everybody.... I've used these forums from time to time, but thought I would officially join DISDADS. I'm a bit of a West Coaster, so DLR is home to me, but we are getting closer to our first trip to WDW in almost 10 years - we're doing a 4 night Disney Cruise followed by 5 days at WDW in early February 2013. Staying at POP. Can't. Hardly. Wait. :woohoo:

Here's some info about me:

Real Name: Andy
Location: Cedar Hills, UT (halfway between Salt Lake and Provo)
Family Situation: Married for 13 years. Four children - DD11, DS9, DD6 and DS almost 4... a/k/a The Hulk
Occupation: Financial Analyst for Software company
Pets: we had a fish for about a week...
Favorite Food: Thai and Indian... plus authentic Italian-style thin crust pizza. Oh and a local college favorite called a "Brat Tail" - basically a 16 inch maple bar doughnut split in two and serves as a bun to hold a bratwurst :thumbsup2
Favorite Drink: Dr Pepper Ten... with crushed ice
Hobbies: I love to run... someday I dream of doing the Goofy. Besides Disney theme parks I love rollercoasters... and travel whenever I can to try new ones.

I'm glad to be here!

Welcome to the club, Andy!!

Today I had enough at work wit the BS and switched to "arrogent pr*ck" mode....don't think the boss noticed :rotfl2:

Welcome!

I may have told a subordinate to F off today. Long story to a long day.

Morning Gents,

I had some meetings yesterday at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal. During a break we did a quick tour and I managed to get some pics.

Here is one of the tower that was built to support the once retractable roof.

And here is one from the top of the tower looking towards downtown.

I just read that Ashley Judd may consider running for Senate from her home state of Kentucky.

God help them, she defiantly likes to listen to herself talk.

Rumor has it that Be Our Guest is open once again to the general public. Give it a go and try to score a quick serve lunch or even better, a dinner reservation!

I see December 15th on the elfster website....is this the date we're all opening?

We got s chance to see the new Fantasyland last night by chance and it looks nice. We have ADR there in march.

Guess yesterday wasn't a total loss, a couple of decent things happened. I was awarded my 15yr service pin (which made me realize I've spent 2/3 of my career in the same store. :crazy2:)
Also, got to pick up my Christmas gift this year, a new camera. It's still a point and shoot, but an upgrade over the current one. :thumbsup2

!! Well, I'm sure they had it comming :thumbsup2

I've come SO close to that, that the previous boss almost got to witness, with a look of horror on his face. And therein lies the issue. Nothing was done to fix the situation. The beat goes on....

Hey Mike! (MiJo)

Sorry it was a rough day. I usually speak in code to avoid getting in trouble that way. My buddies know I like to reference Tom Hanks' knock-knock joke from the movie Catch Me If You Can. So if someone's getting on my nerves and I say, "Do you want to hear me tell a joke?" they know where I'm going with it. :thumbsup2

Happy birthday MiJo!

Rough night last night. We were out having dinnner with friends and driving them back home on a dark country road when I ended up hitting a deer in the road. It was a big buck, too. I hit the brakes and swerved to the right at the last second, and for some reason he moved forward into our path. :confused3 Anyway, he hit the front headlight on the driver's side, and then bounced around and put a nice dent in the driver-side passenger door on the van, too. And I think the frame is slightly bent because the driver door scrapes against something every time I open it now. I'm sure this will be a fun repair bill. :headache:

Anyway, the important thing is that it was still driveable and nobody got hurt. Well, except the deer. We never found him, though.

Happy Birthday Mike!

:thumbsup2

That was a good joke.
