Happy election day gentlemen! We are officially closed today so I get to come in and work to keep from getting further behind. No chance to go back and catch up but congratulations to those deserving, welcome to the new Dads, and prayers for those in need. At least I can turn up the internet radio today.

SWMBO voted in her first KY election and nobody tried to buy her vote. She isn't feeling the love. I voted early in OH last month. There were too many local tax issues that effect our "vacation home" so I wanted to have my say. DW couldn't vote up there because her drivers license expired and has no ID for OH.

I get to change my license this week before my birthday. The good thing on becoming an official KY resident it is much easier to get my concealed carry permit than in OH. Assuming that I am the type of person that would need such a thing

Watching TV tonight, we saw a commercial with a statue in it. Oldest dd giggled and when I asked her why, she said that she saw the boy statues at the museum on a class field trip. Hmmm, the boy statues? What do those schools teach them? I'm worried now.

Discovered classical paintings and sculpture has she?
The guys usually notice those pages in the social studies books first
(they just don’t ask questions or tell you about the discovery afterward).

Good mourning all it's Election Day in America. Only a few hours of political commercials left for our viewing pleasure.

I’m neigh on to certain that they’ll run more tomorrow just for good measure.

I'm waiting until dds wake up and take them with me, so they can see how this works.

Parent teacher conference was this evening. It went well. I was glad to see Ethans grades improve so dramaticly after being moved to the class to help with his dislexia. Lauren's grades are great but she is starting to not listen intently in class. She is a social butterfly....going to be a long edumacation for her!!

Congrats on the improvement. I have a social DD as well. It looks like front of the class will become her motto. Enjoy the times, they will fly by and you'll wish you had them to do again.

Oh...now he's the BORG!

Morning Guys!!

Been up since 3:30 (again). So I decided to get a game of Assassins Creed 3 in. All I can say is its Freakin hard with a capital "F". They changed the button layout and its not as intuitive as before.

Most likely going to leave early today so I can get to voting before the post work rush starts.

Yup. The tv commercial showed the butt of the statue, so I asked if she saw that side or the other side. It was the other side. She said that she and her friends walked by with their hand over their eyes. Ugh.

I went and voted this morning. The line was longer than I've ever seen, even 2008. I talked to my neighbor who works at the polls and she told me that she's never seen it like that either. She said she had to be there at 4:45 this morning and there were already people waiting to get in and vote. It really is exciting to see this kind of turnout and excitement for the political process... even if I can't stomach half of the politicians.

The people of Indiana anxious to make a statement about what happened here 4 years ago?


Judging by the turnout at my polling place the people of my district have entrusted me to make all of the difficult decisions.

I thought weapons permits were required before they let you close on your property in Kentucky!
