Found the posting announcement when I got into work today....I didn't get the posting, so I'm not going anywhere. As it turns out, I wasn't even close, the person who got it has 27 years seniority as opposed to my paltry 15. Guess it wasnt in the cards.

Now I can focus on the Christmas Season though....starts next Friday for us....

Yeah I see that happening too. There is s comic strip out there with zombies by the manger and baby Jesus. And it says that's what happens when Christmas comes out before Halloween.

Also trying to redo my schedule. Will be coming in later Thursday so will miss the park meets. Dinner is on though. Friday, Tim is springing for a pre-half marathon dinner for Barry and myself at Via Napoli so can't miss that. Sunday will probably have to take the Pirate Princess to the airport to fly back to school. Won't know until her next semester's schedule is done.

I think I was going to be at that meal. It's a shame I'll miss it- free food is one of my favorites.
