That's right I forgot about that, I agree with your logic fully, would love to move back myself, that year I was there for school was awesome, only moved back cuz logically looked like I would get more audio jobs in Nashville, boy was I wrong lol

But, since we are both dads, I know there are the more things to consider. I would hopefully be able to find work near or at Disney, but that means uprooting my children to another school system and new friends. I know children are resilient, but unless it is absolutely necessary, I would like to keep them in their routines, activities, schools, and with friends. Also, DW has her parents and family here. Mine are two hours away in Louisville and I visit around our schedule now as it is. Oh well. 10 more years.

Car went in. Brakes and rotors went on. $210 went away.

That's the truth, my family's here ( another reason I moved back) also wouldn't have my beautiful DD, or at least this version of her, and if I do decide to start this business I would like to do it here, maybe I should get into car repair , always feels like your getting Beverleyed when something's not right with your car so might as well be the one doing the beverlying haha

I am happy with the mechanic I use. He will tell me when stuff does and doesn't need to be replaced. And, his prices are really low. If I had any talent, I would love to be able to do that type of work with my hands.

Thanks to you both and anyone else I missed when I was quoting.

I may just head over to the DisDads Photo Thread later on.

Ohh I forget who mentioned have I ever thought of becoming a photopass CM? Hell No... They dont get paid near what I do where I am, so I think not lol.

Good morning everyone!

I'm with you on that, closest I've ever gotten I fixed up my 1949 dodge meadowbrook but working on a 60+ year old car and working on a newesh car are totally diff

I can relate. Dealer told my my truck needed about $2000 worth of work. Luckily I have a way of getting parts at cost so I should be able to get it down quite a bit cheaper.

Something for you all to have wonderful dreams about tonight....

Thanks to all the kin comments...

Hi guys...found out some news late today, since everyone at the store forgot to tell me. Apparently, Oct 1st, we get a new assitant manager, and it's actually going to be a buddy of mine I used to work with when I first got on fulltime. We used to golf all the time and spend hours of worktime trading Simpsons quotes back and forth. Finally, someone I can get along with!

So of course, I have NO doubt that I'll be transferred soon...Law of Averages. Can;t have me happy at work! :rotfl2:

Do I read a little man-crush in this post? :lmao::lmao:;)

Question....does anyone know how long Nemo 3D will be in theaters? We want to go, but opening weekend is out, will it be at least a couple of weeks?:confused3

Nah, I'm happy to hear he got the promotion, and it'd be nice to have someone in the store I DON'T want to beat over the head with a crowbar. I've worked with a lot of losers lately, be nice to have a change.

That pessimistic feeling I mentioned is very real too. I'm way too acccustomed to setbacks now.
