My 8 year old tried last night, although, I sent her back to her bed.
I send him back when I catch him trying, but he's usually sneaky enough, that he doesn't even wake me up until I get kicked or something.

Long day at work everyone, good night. Ill explain later!!! Hope everyone is having a safe night.
Well, like the others have said. Don't worry about it. Do what you can to do your part when you're on the clock, but no sense letting it bother you. It's hard, but I always try to keep myself from stressing or worrying about something I can't fix... it doesn't do any good anyway. I'd say if you aren't at work, then you can't fix it.

So how I said, the latest issues at work were not going to be my problem?

:sad2:

The truck with last night's load showed, no probs. Two hours later, tonight's showed up as well. :scared::scared1: Turns ouut most stores opted to get it all out of the way, so they figured we'd do it too. Would have been nice if they'd tell us first. I got the skids in, but the place is JAMMED, and I have 5-6 skids of domestic beer to arrive tomorrow.

So I used it to my advantage. :scratchin

So I made a deal. I am going in tomorrow at 9am and doing a double shift, staying until 10:30pm. Going to focus on unloading and putting away everything, and get the store in tip-top shape for a upper-management visit Thursday. Thursday I go in for 1/2 a day, getting out at 6 to start my vacation early. :thumbsup2 Will make things easier for me here, still need to pack, laundry etc. But in the end, I am the one fixing the mess....again, one hard day's work is worth early vacation though.
Well, I'm glad you were at least able to take it and make it work in your favor. Early vacation is always a good thing. :thumbsup2

Try Duct Tapping the kid to the bed. Always worked for me.
He has a little pop up tent that he likes to play in and naps in it once in a while. DW told him he could sleep in it last night, just to try and see if he would stay in it all night.

No, she wouldn't let me zip tie the zippers together.

Did someone say Twizzlers :cool1:
I saw chocolate twizzlers in the store a few days ago. Have you ever tried those? :confused3

Hey guys, Paul is treating everyone to Via Napoli thanks to the magic of selective editing! :cool1::banana::woohoo:
Awesome!!! :thumbsup2 :worship:

Morning dads.

Today is gonna be a long day. I'll be spending the afternoon rounding up everything that we brought along with us to the in-laws, then it will be time to pack up the minivan and drive home. Think I'll try to rest up a bit, in advance of that (ie, lounge around, eating sausage and drinking coffee for a bit more.)

Still need to book for our Jan trip. Was hoping to dine at the Cali after the marathon, but now it looks as though it will be closed for a refurb. V&A is not going to happen on a marathon weekend, either. And DW did not like my plan of having the kids shipped down to us, via UPS or something, and just staying there after the race. (I probably should have mentioned that the boxes would definitely have air holes.)

Sausage is done. Later, gents.

Emma's Dad (Don) has put a lot of Great information on page 1, including Vacation dates when and where we are going, our birthdays, what state/country we live in, and much much more.

The birthday post is where I get my information for my Happy Birthday posts, and I look to see who else will be at WDW when I go, for a meet up.

If you would like to have Don post your information, please PM Don and let him know and he will add it in (don't know if he'll be happy about it, but he'll do it). :lmao:

I'm sure he'll be more than happy that you increased his workload on his first week back from vacation. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2::lmao:

Chris, where do you fly out of? I'm guessing Boston is too far, but there are good cheap directs through jetblue and delta that get you to MCO early. For the DDC, I think I'm going to take a 7 am delta that gets me in before 10.

I think Richmond has cut back on the number of direct flights to MCO. The earliest I can get there is 10:26 am. And that's with a connection. Last time I flew down there was December 2010 and I was on the ground before 9.

No, I stick with the strawberry :thumbsup2

I like the cherry, myself. I was half tempted to get some just to try them, but I figured they could be anwhere between awesome and Beverly. I thought maybe you'd have some experience with it. :lmao:

What's up Chris:cool1:

Apparently nothing! (I went to bed...)

That would be awesome. Let's do it! We can play it by ear depending on the other dad's plan for the day, but if we end up in Epcot, Via Napoli is on me!

Great Deal!

So I bought my flight. Arrive at 10:55 am on Thursday, leave at 6pm on Sunday.

Paul and I are meeting for lunch! Despite Paul's offer to pay, Thursday is our MK day. How about lunch at the Crystal Palace at 1pm. Who's in?

RDU is probably around 2 hours from you. Delta and Southwest both have direct flights to MCO. Depending on your travel dates you could park your car at my house and ride with us to the airport for the convention. We're going down thursday morning coming back Monday afternoon. Both flights are direct on southwest.

We'll see how things go, but I think I'll pass. We're doing Whispering Canyon that night.

As I just said to Aaron, so you think I can't eat that much?! That's I challenge I am up for!
