Morning, Dads :coffee:

DD had her first surfing lesson yesterday. Too bad I was stuck at work to see the magic! DW said she did pretty good... was able to get up a few times. Here's one of her short attempts:

She has two more days of lessons - today and tomorrow. Might be calling in sick <cough> tomorrow....

:thumbsup2 <--- Thumb to the side and pinky stretched out.

Spending her whole summer at one beach or another. Ahh, Summer Vacation!

:lmao::lmao: Thanks, Mike! Too bad you didn't get to meet the girls while in MB. Maybe next time :thumbsup2 (VA beach is calling your name)

Oh... and I'm glad you got your power back. That could not have been a very pleasant experience!

Happy Birthday Paul!

Good morning to the rest of you gentlemen as well.

We are settling back into a more normal weather pattern of high humidity and spotty thunderstorms. It is going to be an interesting month. I'm off to visit some growers that are having problems with disease in the fruits and veggies now. That didn't take long.

In my best Squirt and Crush voices...

Sweeeetttt!!! Totally!!!

We have our own T-Shirts... button's, caps, etc...

But normally we can be spotted because we love Dinsey more than our kids... ;)

You available for a meet up end of August?

I'll be at the Kona one evening... if you're in the area. :confused3

Message me when it gets closer to a few days before you come down. I will see what I can arrange. May only get to chat for a few because they are busy over at the poly on a regular basis. I know we are booked solid for the month of August and I am fearing that month lol. But let me know when you will be there and I will try for sure.

Very cool!
(and I do believe that a bit of “sick-time” on her dad’s part may just be a moral imperative).

Actually, that picture ought to be used in the dictionary to illustrate the word: patience.
Attempting to surf anywhere on the east coast is one l-o-n-g exercise in waiting for a wave large enough to carry you more then six feet.

If you can surf the Atlantic… you can survive even the longest Disney queue,

That’s the story here as well. The 100 degree heat was easier to deal with physically but harder on the greenery. Now it’s back in the middle/low nineties but the humidity makes it feel like you’re wrapped in a steaming wet blanket. Just walking two blocks between the office and my mechanic this morning was enough to make you nauseous.

Cool! I work for Sentara in Chesapeake by Greenbrier Mall. Let me know the next time you come up for a visit.

:lmao: So true! Poor girl... by the time she hits the wave, she's already on the beach. Wiping out in that territory is always scary. :scared:

Yeah I know the area. Will do indeed. Maybe grab some grub in the area.
