Yup, I'm fine now. I'm a Type 1 diabetic and got some bad telemetry from my continuous glucose monitor, so it looked like I was about 40 points higher than I actually was. Oh, and it was telling me I was at 55, so I was actually down below 20 or so. Normal is between 80 and 120. So not quite enough fuel to keep the engines running. Then, after they got my blood sugar back up, they were still more concerned about me than they felt they could deal with on the ship, so they called for a ride.

Holy Crap!! I am glad your feeling better now!!! Where did they take you, and did your travel insurance kick in??? We had someone from our cruise group airlifted off of CC the week before your cruise, and they took her to Nassau.

I'm not sure what they can request? Under the Farm Bill any aid is pretty much spelled out. It isn't anything substantial either. Quite honestly, I wish the government would just stay the Beverly out of it, even though any help from them is much needed this year. In most years the farm program and crop insurance just reward half @$$ed farmers, IMO..

I have no idea. Maybe if it is claimed as disaster area, is there more relief? Or, maybe just trying to get votes. Who knows? Government is involved in everything now. The chosen get bailed out and the others fail.

That sure sounds like rubbing salt in a wound...

Just the whole notion of assignment me more work I don't get paid for.

I'll have you know that I didn't feign one bit of interest in meeting your wife and kids..

Prepare for them like you would prepare fr your own family. It takes awhile, but most people start to see I'm right.

Hope you got some needed rain over there. We got about 3/4" but my concern now is we are setting into a period of high humidity so the disease pressure will be up on peoples crops.

I miss County Fairs. None here in the heart of Appalachia. My son has a country ham he is entering for 4-H at the state fair though.
